LumaTerra Professional Academy Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. About us and these terms

These terms apply to purchases of and participation in LumaTerra Professional Academy’s self-paced courses, live online training, master classes, webinars, assessments, and related learning resources.

The provider is LumaTerra Consulting LLC, established under the laws of the State of Kuwait, with commercial licence number 2026/10028 and commercial registration number 546737.

Our place of business is Yaqoub Tower, Fifth Floor, Al-Qibla, Kuwait City, Kuwait.

Contact us at [email protected].

The course description, checkout information, and any specific conditions clearly disclosed before purchase form part of your agreement with us. Specific conditions take precedence only where they expressly address the same matter and are consistent with applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Eligibility and registration

Our offerings are intended for adults aged 18 or older.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. Each registration is for one named learner unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You must not share your account, private course access, or live-session joining links. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Organizations purchasing multiple seats must identify the learners assigned to those seats.

3. Prices and payments

Prices, currencies, and any charges we collect will be disclosed before purchase. Payment is required before access unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payments are processed through PayPal or another payment method expressly offered at checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply separate transaction or currency conversion charges.

If we receive payment but cannot provide the purchased offering, we will provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required.

4. Access and delivery

Self-paced courses

The course description will specify the content, access period, and any included assessments, support, or certificates.

Where access is described as unlimited, no fixed learner access deadline is imposed. This does not guarantee perpetual operation of the course or platform. If we discontinue a purchased offering, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and an appropriate remedy where required.

Live online training

Session dates, times, time zones, and delivery arrangements will be disclosed. Registered learners will receive joining instructions.

Recordings, replacement sessions, or replay access are included only where expressly advertised or confirmed by us.

Technical requirements

You are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection, and compatible software. Contact us promptly if you experience difficulties accessing a purchased offering.

Problems caused solely by your equipment or connectivity do not ordinarily create an additional voluntary refund entitlement. Your rights concerning defects in our service remain unaffected.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Send cancellation or refund requests to [email protected], including your name, the offering purchased, and your purchase reference.

The time we receive your request determines whether you meet the relevant deadline.

Live training, master classes, and webinars

You are eligible for a full refund if we receive your cancellation request at least 48 hours before the scheduled start.

Requests received less than 48 hours before the scheduled start do not qualify for a voluntary cancellation refund. Nonattendance or leaving a session early does not qualify for a voluntary refund.

For a purchase covering multiple sessions, the deadline is calculated from the first session unless different conditions were clearly disclosed before purchase.

The advertised session time and time zone determine the deadline.

Self-paced courses

You are eligible for a refund within two days, meaning 48 hours after purchase, provided you have not accessed substantive learning content or downloaded course materials. If any of these two items transpire, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.

Viewing a public course description, account administration pages, or administrative welcome information does not itself count as accessing substantive learning content.

After the 48-hour window, or once substantive learning content has been accessed or materials downloaded, no voluntary change-of-mind refund is offered.

All refunds are processed, less an administrative fee of USD 25 (twenty-five US Dollars).

Mandatory rights

These voluntary refund conditions do not override applicable statutory cancellation rights or remedies.

If a service is defective, incomplete, or materially different from what was agreed, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include providing the service again, remedying the shortfall, or issuing a partial or full refund.

Accessing content does not automatically waive statutory cancellation rights. Where applicable law requires a separate request, consent, or acknowledgment concerning immediate delivery and cancellation rights, we will obtain it separately.

Approved refunds will be processed without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines, normally through the original payment method. Payment-provider processing times may vary. Access to refunded content may be withdrawn.

6. Changes or cancellations by LumaTerra

We may make reasonable changes to instructors, materials, or delivery arrangements, provided these do not materially reduce the purchased offering.

If we cancel a live offering without delivering it, you may choose a full refund or an alternative offering we make available.

If we materially change the date, format, or scope and the revised offering is unsuitable for you, contact us promptly. We will provide an appropriate refund for the affected, undelivered portion or another remedy you accept.

If circumstances beyond our reasonable control affect delivery, we will communicate promptly and seek a reasonable resolution. This does not remove mandatory rights or automatically entitle us to retain payment for services never provided.

7. Intellectual property and permitted use

Course content belongs to LumaTerra or its relevant licensors. This includes videos, presentations, slides, recordings, written materials, assessments, frameworks, worksheets, templates, and other resources.

Your purchase grants a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access the purchased content for your own learning during the applicable access period. It does not transfer ownership.

You may apply the knowledge and skills you learn in your professional work. Materials may be downloaded only where expressly enabled or authorized.

Without our prior written permission, you must not:

These restrictions remain subject to legal rights or exceptions that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Internal use of worksheets and templates

Where we expressly provide worksheets or templates for practical use, you may download and adapt them for your own work and internal use within your own institution.

You may share adapted working copies with colleagues who need them for that internal purpose.

This permission does not authorize distribution of the original course resource pack, publication, resale, external training, or use as client deliverables without our prior written permission.

Applicable ownership notices must be retained. Adaptation does not transfer ownership of the underlying material. Any expressly disclosed third-party licence conditions also apply.

8. Conduct and learner submissions

You must participate respectfully and lawfully. Harassment, discriminatory conduct, disruption, impersonation, cheating, unauthorized recording, and unauthorized account sharing are prohibited.

Do not submit confidential employer information or another person’s personal information unless you have authority to do so.

You retain ownership of your original submissions. You permit us to use them as reasonably necessary to administer the offering, assess your work, and provide feedback. This permission does not authorize promotional use of identifiable learner work without separate permission.

9. Assessments and certificates

Assessment and certificate requirements will be disclosed for each relevant offering.

A LumaTerra Professional Academy Certificate of Completion confirms that the stated completion requirements were met. It is not a degree, professional licence, or externally accredited qualification unless expressly stated.

We do not guarantee employment, promotion, professional recognition, or a particular business outcome.

10. Recordings and privacy

Some live sessions may be recorded. We will notify participants when recording is planned and explain the arrangements through session notices and our Privacy Policy.

Our recording of a session does not authorize learners to record or redistribute it.

We will obtain separate permission before using identifiable participant images, voices, or contributions in promotional recordings or clips. Declining promotional permission will not prevent participation in the purchased offering.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Accepting these terms does not by itself constitute consent to every form of marketing or recording use.

11. Employer-sponsored enrollment

For employer-sponsored seats, we may share attendance, completion information, and assessment results with the sponsoring organization where disclosed before enrollment and permitted by applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

Purchasing learner seats does not grant an organization ownership of course content or permission to reproduce or deliver our training. The limited permission for internal adaptation of worksheets and templates remains applicable.

12. Educational scope

Our offerings provide educational information. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, they do not provide individualized legal, financial, regulatory, or other professional advice.

You are responsible for assessing how the learning applies to your circumstances and obtaining specialist advice where needed.

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. This section does not limit mandatory remedies for defective or incomplete services.

13. Suspension or termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach, protect participants, investigate unauthorized sharing, or maintain platform security.

Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to prevent ongoing harm or unauthorized disclosure.

Refunds and other financial consequences will be assessed proportionately and in accordance with applicable law. Suspension does not automatically result in forfeiture of all fees.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to applicable law, we do not guarantee particular career, commercial, or institutional outcomes. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by unauthorized use of materials or failure to follow disclosed technical requirements.

Responsibility for proven loss will be determined under applicable law. These terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability for defective or incomplete services.

15. Complaints, governing law, and disputes

Send complaints to [email protected], including sufficient information for us to investigate. We will seek to resolve complaints fairly and without undue delay.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to the transaction.

Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Kuwait. This does not remove a consumer’s mandatory right to use another competent court, regulator, or statutory complaint mechanism.

16. Updates and severability

We may update these terms for future purchases and will identify the revision date.

Updates will not retrospectively remove material rights associated with an existing purchase without a lawful basis and any required notice or consent.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
